Rugby: Thousands welcome All Blacks to France
Mon, 03 Sep 2007 06:10p.m. The All Blacks have had their first taste of French fervour. Thousands of fans turned out in Marseille to greet the Rugby World Cup favourites, surprising and delighting the New Zealanders. The warm greeting added to the anticipation for the players, with more than 3,000 fans lining the streets to seek autographs and say bonjour.

-> Richie has learnt his French lessons well (good speech in Marseille! but I haven't found the link yet...I have! see below ;)). Yet for the "Crunch"-lesson, sweetie, I am not sure you are right... Some of us will side in black (I will!)
Richie looks like a vet' with his beret ;)

Rugby: All Blacks adapting to warmer climate
Mon, 03 Sep 2007 12:22p.m.

The All Blacks are feeling the heat as they approach their opening World Cup match against Italy in Marseille on Saturday night.

With their first official training run scheduled tonight, the team has a week to acclimatise to the warmer temperatures.

The All Blacks will be without Keith Robinson who is still struggling with a calf strain.
