All Blacks captain Richie McCaw says he will be playing in New Zealand next year and expects to re-sign with the New Zealand Union soon.

"Hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will be sorted out," McCaw said yesterday of his contract negotiations with the NZRU.
"Ideally it would have been done before now but I have people back home to keep an eye on that."

He has just three weeks to meet the October 12 deadline for all players to re-sign with the NZRU.

There had been speculation McCaw could follow World Cup teammates Chris Jack (Saracens), Byron Kelleher (Toulouse), Aaron Mauger (Leicester), Carl Hayman (Newcastle), Anton Oliver (Toulon), Doug Howlett (Munster) and Luke McAlister (Sale) to Europe.

McCaw said yesterday his immediate future lay in New Zealand but it is believed he will sign for no more than two years.
McCaw will captain the All Blacks in their third World Cup match in France, against Scotland in Edinburgh on Monday.

-> I love the comment under the pic : "DON'T MESS WITH ME: Richie McCaw's loyalty to New Zealand shouldn't be questioned."
Of course he won't leave! and honestly, I love it when people just confirm what I say :P so thanks a lot Richie!
