Richie McCaw is a leader, but acutely aware that he leads on the rugby field – not in disaster zones.
So last week, the All Black Captain and Crusaders star kept his head down, leaving the leadership to others.
Today though, McCaw wanted to speak up for the city he loves so much, and for all the people in it.
