All Blacks to thank fans with parades



The Rugby World Cup 2011-winning All Blacks will celebrate their victory – and the Webb Ellis Cup – with fans in a series of public events in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington starting with a massive parade in central Auckland tomorrow (Monday, 25 October).

The New Zealand Rugby Union and the Auckland City Council have tonight confirmed the All Blacks an...d the Webb Ellis Cup will star in a special parade in downtown Auckland. The parade begins at the corner of Albert Street and Customs Street West at 2.30pm. It will move along Customs Street West and up Queen Street, ending at the corner of Wellesley Street and Mayoral Drive.

The parade is expected to end by 3.30pm. Visit www.auckland2011.com for the parade map, road closures and other information.

On Tuesday, the All Blacks will take the celebrations to Christchurch with a parade finishing at the Hagley Park fanzone.

On Wednesday, the team will take part in the third victory parade through central Wellington.
