Greg Growden writes: The Crusaders are an experienced bunch, but the Pretoria factor can freak out opponents. The latest to be jittery is their flanker Matt Todd, describing Loftus Versfeld as 'one of the most hostile environments. We have to stick together. It is like us against everyone in there."

AAP writes: It's a case of "steady as she goes" for the Bulls, who have named an unchanged starting line-up for the second week in a row. Last week's 20-17 loss to the Stormers left the Bulls heartbroken, but coach Frans Ludeke says his team can't dwell on that disappointment ahead of a crunch clash with the Crusaders, who also boast a 3-2 record. The Crusaders weren't entirely convincing in recent wins over the Lions and Cheetahs. But with star five-eighth Dan Carter set to regain the kicking duties, the Crusaders should have a far more clinical look about them.
