All Blacks captain Richie McCaw is set for a return to Super Rugby.
McCaw hasn't played since lifting the Webb Ellis trophy in October last year.
However Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder says he should be fit to face the Reds in Christchurch in two weeks.
"He went for a run yesterday under the guidance of our physio John Roche and Rochey reckons he's never seen a man more possessed than Richie McCaw at the moment so I don't think he's going to be too far away we're looking at two weeks time."
Meanwhile Blackadder has confirmed Tom Taylor will continue to play at first five, with Daniel Carter to remain in the number 12 jersey.
