Greg Growden writes: Told you the Rebels wouldn't miss Danny Cipriani, and that was immediately on show last round with Kurtley Beale's excellent No 10 effort against the Bulls. They'll probably won't get close to the Crusaders- but will irritate for awhile.

AAP writes: The Rebels were at their best last round against the Bulls but still couldn’t pull off a win. Whether this will help or hinder them against the mighty Crusaders is the question. Kurtley Beale was outstanding in his first start at five-eighth and he should be fitted for the Wallabies No.10 jumper if he repeats the performance. The Crusaders are resting in-form No.8 Kieran Read, All Blacks fullback Israel Dagg and halfback Andy Ellis, with that contingent on the bench. Skipper Richie McCaw will make his first start since his World Cup ankle injury - not a half bad replacement.

REBELS: Julian Huxley, Mark Gerrard, Mitch Inman, Lachlan Mitchell, Cooper Vuna, Kurtley Beale, Nick Phipps, Gareth Delve (c), Michael Lipman, Tim Davidson, Hugh Pyle, Cadeyrn Neville, Rodney Blake, Ged Robinson, Nic Henderson. Reserves: Adam Freier, Jono Owen, Al Campbell, Ryan Hodson, Nic Stirzaker, James Hilgendorf, Stirling Mortlock.
