Akaroa, a (French) piece of Heaven!
You could have been French ; but you wouldn't have played rugby
So Thank you to the English for stealing this territory from us!

Pictures from yesterday's match and after match ceremony. Byron and Richie were playing their 50th test matches for the ABs. Richie left the field for a "coaching substitution" and not because he was injuried ;)

Bonus

Yesterday wasn't great for everyone from NZ.

Our friends Tony Marsh and Vern Cotter (Clermont) lost to the Stade Francais Paris in the final of the French National Championship (Top 14) 23 to 18 (half time : 12/0 for Clermont). Tony (like Mike James for Paris) was playing his last professional match before retiring.

It was the 8th final lost by Clermont since the 1930s (they have never been French champion but they are European Champions...)
