Monday June 17th news

The cup is home and the guys have just arrived in South Africa...hopefully it won't bring any bad sign for September/October...

Here is David Kirk at the Eden Park meeting an old friend of his : the William Webb Ellis trophy. 20 years...long road!

=> Rico Gear is off to Worcester (England) after the World Cup -another jewel of the crown who leaves to the mother-land...He signed for a 3-year contract. The question now is to know whether he will be back with the ABs for the 2011 campaign or not?

=> meanwhile, Jimmy Cown (Highlanders) has extended his contract with the NZRU for another 3 years, which leads this union to the end of 2010.


Rugby: All Blacks arrive in South Africa

The All Blacks have arrived in South Africa without any new injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s one off test in Durban. The team get some much needed kip overnight in Johannesberg before heading to Durban where Graham Henry will name his team on Wednesday morning New Zealand time.
